QuestionHey I'm 22 from Toronto and looking to get a suv for family 4,or6 cylinder, that looks good, good HP, and efficient gas usage...would you have any recommendations? I'm looking at getting a used one after 2003 in the price range 20-40k. Is it true the more luxourious a suv is the more we pay for insurance? I was thinking of getting the HOnda or Toyota, or even BMW/Audi..but not sure...Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks alot!

Before you sign on the dotted line buying any vehicle it will be a wise move to get a quick estimate from your insurance provider, it's not luxury that makes insurance more costly with some cars, replacement cost or how the vehicle is rated determines the cost , should you narrow your choices down to 2 vehicles simply phone your insurance agent for details.
As for choice of SUV, sure jump on the band wagon and go with brand labels like Honda or Toyota, my choice is Ford Escape, look at all the SUV's on the road in mid size and you will most likely note more Escapes around GTA than any other, and the reason is simple, why pay more for a label like Honda or Toyota when you can buy the same quality for less " example " when you buy designer jeans you pay top dollars and yet you can buy the same cloth and fit with a no name brand for much less,,, my point is are you a person shopping labels trying to impress your neighbors or shopping for value.
