Used Cars: Bad Purchase, powertrain warranty, head gasket

Question
I run an independent repair facility...one of my customers has recently (2 weeks ago) purchased a 1997 mazda miata...After about 10 days the headgasket blew...the dealer gave her a 30 powertrain warranty and is now unwilling to pay any portion of repairs...customer paid cash...what actions can or should they take?

Answer
Hey Jeff
I would contact a lawyer ASAP! There has to be a bill of sale that states there was a warranty and they are bound to it ! If you do not take action ASAP you will lose out, contact a lawyer then get him to send them a letter with a copy of the bill of sale , warranty, and your shop report of a broken head gasket ! I hope it helps !
