Used Cars: bmw328i 1992, american dollar, canadian dollar

i emailed earlier today:
the canadian dollar is the exact same as the american dollar,
and 100 000 kms is approxiamately 60 00 miles.
the car has never been winter driven, or smoked in, and is listed as immaculate.
i think $11 500 is a bit high. i've looked online for info, and no one even mentions a 328i untill the '96 model. the car is imported from germany, comes with recent inspection.
ANY ADVICE?

I would move on to another vehicle.  I mean first and foremost, there is no such thing as that year and model.  Secondly I believe that is twice the price for that car.  And thirdly, they are probably in a position where they do not have to sell this car, which gives them the upper hand in this deal, and they are obviously way to proud of that car to let it go for $4000 to $5000 which is realistically all it is worth.  I know the history and all that is extremely appealing, but I promise you can get a MUCH MUCH better value elsewhere.  I wish you luck in your search and let me know if I can be of further assistance.
