Used Cars: 2003 Camry 50K Miles, two doors, carfax report

Question
I am looking to buy a used camry from a private party. The car is 2003 model with 50 K miles on it. i did the test drive and look and feel of the car is very good. He says in 2005 two doors of the car were changed as someone damaged them in the parking lot, the incident is not on the carfax report. I have negotiated the price to 10,500 USD. What is your opinion on the price, door change or otherwise. This will be my first used car purchase, so i am very very cautious.
An early reply is really appreciated as I need to close the deal sooner than later!

Thanks!

Answer
As far as the price, that is a fair price.  The changing of the door thing really sounds suspicious, I have never changed a door due to damage from a parking lot experience.  I mean, how much damage can be done in a parking lot, that just involved the doors.  Seems kinda weird to me, changing a door would be a lot more difficult than fixing damage.  I dont know what to think about that, sounds kinda fishy to me.  I would probably have the car checked out by your own mechanic, if it were me.  It may be a true story but I would highly recommend a good check over from a good mechanic.
