QUESTION: Next year, the 06 Dodge Charger fleet cars will be available for resale. 35,000 miles. V8 engine. I am looking for a 2nd fun-car. What do you think about the Dodge Charger fleet car?

ANSWER: Well the truth of the matter is they are still to new  to really have much of a reputation.  The Cops that I have spoken with who drive these cars absolutely love them.  For a 2nd fun car, I think they would be an absolute blast.  I would probably try and find people who have owned or driven the cars on a regular basis.  I would imagine their fuel mileage is bad, but for a 2nd car, who cares.  Enjoy it if you buy it.

QUESTION: Hey. Thanks for the quick reply. I read that they have an "hour meter." We have one on a forklift at work. What do you do with an hour-meter? Cars change oil etc based on miles driven. Anything EXTRA should be done based on HOURS?

Well I havent been in the "New" side of car sales in about 4 years, but I have never heard of the hour meter.  Again if you get a chance to visit with someone who has driven one of these cars you might ask them.  The only thing I could think of is the companies who have these cars as fleet cars may use them for business reasons, but outside of that, I have no clue what good they would be in a vehicle. I dont know anything extra you would have to do, having an hour meter.  Good one though.
