Used Cars: Horn not working, car warranties, powertrain

Question
Hi-I recently bought a used car and the horn didn't work-is this something that should have been repaired by the dealer? I have had this fixed by a local place and want to know if this should be paid for by the dealer who sold it. Thank you

Answer
Although the dealer probably SHOULD pay.. they wont... it was sold as is.. and unless it has one heck of a used warranty (most used car warranties only cover the powertrain), you're out of luck, no harm in asking though, if they are reputable and missed the horn in their inspection, they might pay for your troubles.  Just ask... There is nothing more you can do if they don't want to fix it for you.  Sorry... good luck with your car!
