Trucking: 0perating authority

I live in Pennsylvania. The guy I worked for has a 1 ton dually p/u truck w/40' gooseneck trailer. He lives in Texas. I am getting my LLC, Operating Auth, etc. He is going to work a privet deal w/me to buy tr/trlr on payments. Can I operate his truck under my authority in PA.

Probably, but you need to be sure the documents are created correctly.
There are different legal and tax consequences if you are an employee vs. an owner operator od independent contractor.  Best to get professional advise before signing any documents.
I recommend a specialist over a general business lawyer.
