Trucking: Medical card, medical card, edward i

Question
I have recently quit my current driving position to go back to an old company that I had worked for. In the events of quieting The current employer They say I half to turn in my medical card. Would there be any reason for which I would half to do this??

Answer
Edward, I don't know any regulation that allows an employer to make you turn over your medical card when you quit.  The only thing I can think of is if they paid for your exam they could feel it's their property and don't want you or another carrier to benefit at their expense.
If you paid for it, it's yours.  If not you can offer to reimburse them the cost or just go get another one.
Jim.
