Trucking: hotshot trucking, trucking companies, bob stephens

Hey Bob,  I just terminated my lease agreement with a large hotshot company and looking to get leased on with another company in the north texas area. How do I find another company, Im new to the area, and I googled nothing. Can you help?  Thanks, Tyson

Hi Tyson.

Hot Shot running for the Oil Fields is big in Texas and Oklahoma.  You may look into that.  I don't know of any specific companies, but you can call the suppliers and get the names of some trucking companies that they ship with.  Also, I would go to www.superpages.com or your phone book and start calling trucking companies in your area.  They all know each other and someone local can lead you in the right direction.  Most of the smaller companies you'll never find on the internet, you'll have to do some phone work.
