Answer
Hi John.

It's hard to say.  I don't know what area of the country your in or if you run local or OTR.  You may choose to drop the trailer for good and run flatbed or refridgerated.  People always eats and food is always shipped and relatively steady.  If you want to stick with cars, you may want to lease out and run under someone else's DOT for a while.  It may just keep you busy.  I know car haulers in Florida are slow right now.  Other than that, pound the pavement.  Within 2 miles of my office, there are four automotive performance shops and one company that builds replica Ford GT-40 and other models.  They receive and ship cars all over the U.S. Often several a week.  Stopping into these places can yield loads where a broker doesn't take a cut and now you have contacts!

Good luck!
