Trucking: Hot shot trucking, expediting companies, gooseneck trailer

I have ten years of driving experience, and I am very serious about starting my own hot shot company with a one ton and a gooseneck trailer. I'm just not sure of what rates I should charge loaded or empty.

Daniel, if you are just starting I would recommend signing on as an owner operator with one of the established expediting companies in order to learn the business.  You may have to sign a limited non-compete but if you are careful about what you sign the experience should be worth it in the long run.
