Trucking: Owning and operating costs, heavy equipment caterpillar, trucking software

I am attempting to develop good owning and operating costs for our fleet of trucks and heavy equipment.  Caterpillar has a spreadsheet to plug in all types of numbers for their equipment, it could be modified for the trucks but i need to locate average costs per the industry.  Any suggestions where i might find a good source of information on trucks?

There are numerous software companies that offer all sorts of trucking software.  I'd do some research, but here is a link...

To find out realistic, current costs, I'd contact OOIDA (www.ooida.com).  The last expense sheet that they have on their site is four years old.  I'm sure if you contact them, they can find something newer that would give you exactly what you needed.
