Question
I will have a 2007 dodge ram 3500 dually with 6.7 and 6 speed auto. Im starting a car hauler biz with a take 3 48ft trailer. I dont understand gcwr of vehicles. i will be towing by gooseneck. I figure trailer weight is 7000, avg car is 4000 pounds, thats just under 20000 pounds, Is this legal by means of 2 heavy for the truck. I see rams do this all day long!! Thanks

Answer
Hi Chris.

You should have a towing capacity of about 23,000 (Ask your dealer).  Many guys hauling four cars are pushing maximum load capacity on most of those trucks (but still within it's limits), but it depends on the vehicles being hauled.  You should be able to haul four cars all day long.

Good luck!
