Trucking: Camper Hauling, rv camper, cdl class

Hey Bob, I Am a cdl class a company driver, i wanted to haul campers on fri.and Sat. with my pickup for extra cash.
I own a 05 f-150 super crew but its not diesel.Is there a way i could do this without buying a new truck or adding a fifth wheel to it? If so where would i start?

Hi David.

It would be to your advantage to have a diesel and a fifth wheel, but your big issue is that you only have two days to haul anything.  Hauling campers from the manufacturers is probably going to be more than a two day trip there and back, unless you live near a manufacturer.  You can start on this site...

The next thing I would do is contact RV/camper dealers near you and see how you can help them with their shipping needs.  You may have have to make some trips to dealers for face-to-face time, but it will be worth it in the end.
