Trucking: Training, trucking business, money book

Question
I am interested in a career change.  I am 42 have a clean DMV and background.  I have experience in areas that might be usefull to me in the trucking business.  I am good with money, book keeping, people, attention to detail, mechanics and electronics.  I have worked in the contracting field for the last 10 years. I am looking for a more predictable income with upside. Please comment and recomend a few companies.

Hi Bill,  Sounds like you do have a good background.
Suggest you contact some companies that have driving schools to learn the basic regulations and skills that are required.
