Truck Repair: fuel pump shutoff, cummins engine, engine fluids

Question
I am working on a 1994 volvo with a m11 330 cummins engine the guy was driving it home and the lights started flashing engine fluids and stop engine and died and it will not start back and the silinode on the fuel pump is clicking and keeps shutting off what could be causing that and if it is a sensor which one is it and can it be by passed from the brain itself

Answer
Anthony,
The best way to carry out repair on M11 330 is through identification of fault code. Each code is flashed through the first quick flash followed by a longer stop and then another set of quick flash folledw by another long stop and the last set of quicl flashes. It is usually a 3 digit code.
for example, a fault code 124 will flas as follows:
one flash, then a stop; two flashes and another stop; and finally four flashes.
If you cannot read the code this way, you need to hook up with insite or any other relevant diagnostic tools.
When you can identify the fault code, then it is easier to find solutions to engine problems.
There is no way you can bypass the ECM without causing some form of damage to your engine wiring system or even the ECM. I dont advise you bypass.
Contact the nearest Cummins shop to you for more assistance.

Kind regards,
