Truck Repair: m11 fails to crank sometimes, fl112, battery cables

my 1995 fl112 with a m11 celect  fails to crank 1 out of 10 times.when this happens there is no clicking, no sounds at all.as if the start button was broke or batteries dead but both have checked out fine!   is there a relay somewhere in the cranking system of another possible source of malfunction? thanks

Greg,
I suggest you clean the starter to battery cables at the points at which they are joined to the starter and the battery. Dust particles may account for the non clicking if short circuited.

Furthermore, you can have your kickstarter solenoid checked for proper functioning.
