Truck Repair: n14, camshaft lobes, fuel filters

Question
I have a 97 n14,it has a miss that comes and goes. The miss happens from idle to roughly 1100 rpm's. The shop said the #4 AND #6 injector was bad so I replaced them and it still missed. I took it back and #4 was still missing.  When you listen to the motor you can hear it missing then after a minute or so it stops and a minute or so later it misses again. I have done a complete overhead, fuel filters, and ran all the known fuel system / injector cleaners through it with no luck. Could it be a something  else?

Answer
Hi Eric,
When the injectors were replaced, did you follow the specified procedure in doing so?, if not, you need to recheck the setting of injector travel or zero lash setting as the case may be.
secondly, have your camshaft lobes for injectors #4 & 6 inspected for pitting or partial chop off. If found pitted, replace camshaft and reset injectors and valves.
