Truck Repair: 1993 chevy silverado 1500, chevy silverado, degree thermostat

I have the above vehicle with 4.3 V6. what is the normal oil pressure range for this vehicle? On mine it is showing close to the 60 range is that normal. I put a thermostat in it because it was not heating up. It still take some time for it to heat up. I put a 195 degree thermostat in it.Is this normal also. This is my first chevy truck.

All sounds normal.
If you mean it is slow for the heater to work, you could have a restricted heater core or hose fitting.

Very seldom is the oil pressure too high. I would immagine yours drops some when it warms up.
The electric guages are not perfect. The only way to know exactly what it has is with a mechanical guage.
But I think it is just fine.
