How do I know if I have a CAPS fuel pump?

And also because I am about 100 miles from any dealer for the next couple days, can you tell me what is code 434?

I am looking for a list of codes for the dash diagnostic (check engine)light. I don't have one in my owners manual and would like something in electronic form if at all possible - what can I find a list of these codes?

If it has the regular CAPS fuel pump you can order a wiring diagram with the codes on the back of it.It is a laminated sheet for about $13.
OOOPS  Part number is 3666267.

434 is low battery voltage or ECM not powered down correctly,not leaving key off for 30 secs before turning key back on will cause this fault.The old CAPS pump has a square accumulator module & 6 injector lines on the rear of pump.The newer ISCs have electronic injectors.
