Truck Repair: truck started then shut off now wont start, pressure gage, oil gauge

I have a 2002 cummins 24 valve turbo deisel i started it one morning it started fine but ran for 30 seconds then oil pressure gage fell and the truck shut off. Now it still turns over fine but wont start up and the oil pressure gage will move up then go down again.

You check the oil level in the pan?Sounds more like an electrical problem on the truck side rather than an engine problem with the oil gauge fluctuating.Hardly ever have an oil pressure problem with a B series engine.Usually a oil galley plug will fall out the frt of the block or suction tube breaking at the flange is about all I have seen.
