Truck Repair: U-Joint replacement 2003 S-10 truck, ujoint, drive shaft

How do you remove the old U-Joint from the Drive shaft?

unbolt the drive shaft at the rear end should be 4 nuts ans 2 straps around the ujoint.pull the yoke out of the trans now take a socket that fits on the u joint cap and then hammer the ujoint out one side then take the cap out that came out of the yoke now hammer the u joint out the other way and take the cap off .do the same to the other two caps.dont forget to take the spring locks out of the yoke befor hammering you should be able to get these out with a small screwdriver,any other questions just ask and thanks
