Truck Repair: Leak on front diferrential, oil leaks, triangle pattern

Hi Kasey,

I have a 1990 Chevy S-10 Blazer 4.3 engine 4x4, and there is a cable that is going to the front diferrential it has three bolts in a triangle pattern and I have a leak there. can you tell me what I need to do to repair the leak. I think the cable has something to do with vacuum control.

that is what turns the front diff on for 4x4 you should be able to jack that side of the truck up i think its on the pass side "its been a while" jack it up so not that much oil leaks out and unbolt it and pull it out just so you can scrap out the old gasket and wipe clean. take some number 2 form a gasket "its black and says non hardning"it will be in a white tube apply it to the cast iron housing and rebolt sould be as good as new. let me now how this is going. thanks
