Truck Repair: 1998 Century Freightliner, motor cummins, pin holes

Question
I have a 98 century with cummins motor N 14 in the truck. It start out with a oil leak in front of motor,Memphis Freightliner advise me to rebuilt for it had bad injectors and I did let them rebuilt. It came out of the shop still with oil leak, and the truck never ran right since. We took the truck back to dealership 3weeks later, they replace the trubo, that went out on the way back to Memphis. I had it replace at Little Rock,AR., same Dealership just different town and State. They said that it was suppose to came with the trubo when they rebuilt the motor in Memphis. They fixed the oil leak. They said that they was suppose to replace the trubo with the rebuilt kit, but didn't, in Memphis,TN, Freightliner dealership. After they rebuilt the truck it was hard to start and would give low votlage, idle hard, it acted like it wasn't getting enought fuel one minute,it idle fine then it was like no fuel. Took it back to Memphis to same dealership, they said could not duplicate the problem, so we took it out and went on ,we kept taking it back and finally Service rep. told us to take it to Cummins they was getting mad at us for they couldn't duplicate the problem. I took it to Cummins in Memphis,TN. Told them the same thing  that was wrong with the truck hard to start and fuel surging. They check the truck  fuel system and found that the fuel shut of sensor was not put back on after they rebuilt the motor. Cummins replace the one missing and change a fuel line, and said see if that would take care of the fuel surging. It did not. Returned to Cummins for them to check the fuel lines to see if they had  pin holes and to check the fuel pump. They said they could not find the problem. The problem keep getting worst, it would have to be on high idle anytime you stopped. Then the truck would shut off itself while driving down the road. In Houston,TX they said it was giving a code of 254, but couldnot find a problem, Headed toward  Hammond,LA and while sleeping the truck shut off again by itself while it was on high idle, took it back to shop in Memphis,TN at Cummins, still couldnot find the problem. They said it gave off code 254,and low voltage they replace the fuel selodia and clean wires. After going about 500 miles it shut itself off again in Greensboro, NC.they said it showed code 254 again the replace the fuel selodia and cleaned wires again.Went to Tampa, FL. it gave cod 254 and could not find any low voltage they clean wires. Went to Altanta,Ga truck shut off itself again babied  the truck home to AR. put in shop in Jonesboro,AR Freightliner, they said the ECM unit didnot pick up any codes they cleaned wires again and found the battery cable needed to be replaced they rplaced. Went to Tx and truck shut itself down and went toward Altanta ,Ga but the truck keep shutting itself down after 200 mile and then after that it would shut itself down about every 10-20 miles I had put in the shop Freightliner In Montgomery,AL they said it had a code of 254 inactive, so they could not fix anything at this time. I call up and told them to replace the ECM Unit, they did but wasn't to happy about it.It stay out of the shop for about month and then check engine light came on and idling bad with active code 1 on dash which said # 4 injector open -code 128S004-05.. I have it in Charrlotte, NC at Sterling Dealership at the present time they are suppose to start work on it sometime tomorrow. If you can help me I would greatly appreciate it. It surely wouldn't hurt cause it has already cost a arm and a leg.. Present time, I am sick of this truck. I would never get another Cummins in a truck...Please Help....

Answer
Sounds like the only problem you have right now is an injector fault due to a broken pass through connector or bad solenoid on the injector.Sorry to hear that they could not find your problem sooner. There also is a Cummins Mid South in Little Rock,Jackson,MS,Birmingham & Mobile,Ala and several more locations for St Louis to New Orleans. Most dealers dont know much about the engine electronics as do the engine distributors. The distributors atleast have more resources if the problem keeps reaccuring & have exhausted all T&R material.Maybe an ISX next since N14 are no longer in OTR trucks since Oct 02.
