Truck Repair: fuel problem, cummins diesel engine, hp cummins

Question
1995 freightliner dies going down road but cranks back and runs ok until next time it happens. The truck has 400 hp cummins diesel engine. It started having problems cranking, changed fuel filter and ran fine for a while but now it will not even crank at all. Is there a kill switch and how can you check or bypass. Older engines had a screw that you could screw in on back of kill switch to bypass? Any answers are welcome.

Answer
The Celect Plus engines are all electrically controlled.I would check the unswitched battery fuses if the Check Eng & Stop Eng lights do not come on with key on self test.If they come on,check for voltage at fuel pump solenoid. If voltage is there, then need to check fuel pump.
