Truck Repair: MAP Sensor - GMC Yukon, electronic engine controls, gmc yukon

Question
I put a long block in my 95 Yukon. Good news it runs, but rough at low speed. Checking the codes I get a 34 signifying MAP trouble. Low and behold, I don't have a MAP sensor connected and the rear port to the TBI is open. Could the previous owner have disconnected it. I thought I hooked everything back up and don't recall if one was there or not? There is not even a bracket. Can these be tuned out or are they required.

Answer
Hello Steve,
I don't claim to be great on the electronic engine controls, but a map sensor is one thing I would expect is needed.
MAP is vacuum.
See if there is a diagram under the hood somewhere showing all the vacuum hose connections, and if one of them is MAP.
