QuestionI HAVE A 1994 INT CUMMINS ENGINE N-14,2hsfaer8rco12880,9400 SERIES.THE TURBO WENT OUT ON THE EXHAUST SIDE.i replaced it,it ran a day and started missing,i checked and the no 2 injector was bad,put in new injector,ran ok 1/2 day,lost all power,missing real bad,changed filter,still hard to start,and when it does, will only idle,when you rev it up it dies.any suggestions?up until the turbo went out it ran fine,
Answer Sorry,I thought I answered this on the other computor :/First I would check to see which one was misfiring.If cyl #2,I would check the installation of the injector.If there is fuel in the oil,the inj hold down bolt came loose or o ring cut.Still could be an o ring if it does not want to shut off when the key is turned off.Turbo going out is just another problem fixed if it was just leaking out the exhaust.
