Truck Repair: N14 low oil pressure, crank shaft, low oil pressure

Question
I have a 96 international 9400 with an N14 eng #11772264. I read your earlier answer about low oil pres.. You mentioned pump gears turning on shafts. I tryed that useing an 18" pry bar and with some force they moved. My question is could I be moveing more than just the gears on the shaft or is my pump bad. Keep in mind I'm working outside temp 15deg f. On start 45psi, after warm up, oil temp 190, 10psi. Thanks for for the info!

Answer
One of the gears is pressed onto a shaft that drives off the crank shaft. If it moved turning it from the bottom ,it is no good.Well actually if it moved at all it is no good.It will log a fault code if the oil pressure gets low enough to hurt engine. If Engine Protection is on,it will shut engine down.
