Truck Repair: 12v cummins, ford f 250, length dimensions

I have a opportunity to buy a wrecked 92 dodge with a cummins for a engine swap into a 71 ford F-250.  I was wondering about the weight and length dimensions of the cummins. Also any  problems tips or other consideration's I should be aware of.  Thanks

Well it weights close to 1,000 lbs.You will need a charge air cooler(cooler for intake air in frt of radiator).They do make a Ford adaptor plate if you want to use your driveline or just get the yoke change on the drive shaft.The length I dont know with out actually putting a tape measure on it to see.
