Truck Repair: 95 Chevy Truck Heater, feedback sensors, chevy k1500

Question
It's a 95 Chevy K1500 Z71. My heater doesn't put out heat well, or at least most of the time it doesn't. I have checked the hoses and both are warm. The heater box is hot in the cab. The blower runs fine. The A/C was blowing cold in the summer. Some days it has plenty of heat, almost to much. I tried to get into the box to check the core but I was stopped after removing the glovebox. I couldn't figure out how to remove the box and blower. Any suggestions? I don't exactly were to go next.

Answer
Hello Donald,
Sounds like the air flow doors might be your problem.
They are operated by little electric motors, with feedback sensors to the controller, and are kinda hard to troubleshoot.
One thing you might do is disconnect the battery, and reconnect it to see if there might be a reset that might help.

Loose connections where the module connects can cause some problems like that also.
