Truck Repair: 86? ford 700,3802 cat diesel, google search, ford diesel

not sure of the year.hi nice to meet you van .
truck has been sitting for a long time ,old fuel .will no start but has popped a couple times
with gas on a rag..does this engine have glow plugs ?and or how does it fire on initial start up?
also where might i find a 6.9 ford diesel without second mortgage on my home.
i am in central fl if that helps..

Hello Martin,
That is probably a 3208, not 3802.
I don't think it has glow plugs, but I'm not sure.
I believe just the cranking speed is how it starts.
