Truck Repair: I think its a fuel issue., chevrolet s 10 pickup, good shape

Question
I have a 1992 Chevrolet S-10 Pickup Truck, with a manual 5 speed transmission, and a 4.3 liter V-6.
Last week it began to not want to start after being driven, and then sitting for a short time.  The problem elevated to not starting at all for three days, then it started once, then it hasn't run again in two days.  I'm not sure what the deal is, but I have no idea what to do, and I hope there is a simple solution.  I have a general knowledge of vehicle maintenance, and a superb knowledge of vehicle terminology.

Answer
Hello Patrick,
Basically, a spark or fuel problem.
Check for spark to a plug wire.
If there is good spark, and you reasonally expect the plugs to be in good shape, prime it with some gasoline down the throat, or some starting fluid.
If it hits on that, check the fuel pump operation, filter, and catch some fuel to see if there is water in it.
