Truck Repair: eng. warn light on n14 plus engine, cummins n14, faulty sensor

Question
I have an 1996 Cummins n14 plus that the eng. warn light has started coming on once and a while, only when the engine is warm. The light may be on for a second or several minutes then go's out. If I shut the engine off and restart the light will stay off for a while.  It seems to be a faulty sensor to me there is no colant level sensor on this truck, so I wanted to know what other sensors could cause this light, any help would be greatly appriciated.

            Thanks!

Answer
Have you tried to get the codes out of the ECM?Turn key switch on(if it has a diagnostic switch) use set/resume switch to flash out the ECM codes. They will flash the same code 3 times & pause between the codes if more than one.If not more than one,it will flash the same code over & over.
