Truck Repair: 88 Chevy 1/2 ton, plug wires, chevy

Hey Van,Thanks for all your help. I took the truck out of the city last night into the dark. I found all plug wires were cross-firing, these are Boschs and not the low end. Is there a set specifically for gm?
Boy I was pulling my hair out over this one. I have seperators on my plug wires to keep em off heated areas but I didnt change my plugs after I had my exhaust manifolds fixed. I'll keep you posted thanx for the help again.

Hi Peter,
GM ignition puts out a very large amount of voltage to the plugs, but I would think the Bosches should handle it fine if you got them speciffically for your truck.
If your plugs are old, they may be giving too much resistance, and the spark takes the easiest route. I would try changing them also. But make sure your wires are designed for that engine.
