Truck Repair: Hard Start, full tank, turning the key

Question
I have a 96 S-10 Blazer with 194k miles that has trouble starting.  It has a full tank of gas.  I discovered that if I remove the intake cover and pour in a tablespoon of gas, then replace the cover, it'll start right up and run just fine.  If I let in run for a couple minutes then turn it off, it'll start right back up with no problem.  If I wait for 8 hours it might start but it takes several tries.  If I wait a couple of days, I have to do the gas under the hood trick again.  Once it's running it runs great.  Any ideas?

Answer
Hello Kerry,
It is possible that the gas is just draining back out of the lines to the tank.
Try turning the key to run...not start, for a few seconds. Maybe even twice. For just a few seconds each time. That may cause the pump in the tank to pressurize the system before cranking.
