Truck Repair: 89 ford F350 engine conks out while driving, ford f350, tire valve

Question
My 1989 Ford F350 has been shutting down after driving a few hours.  I pull over and let it sit for 30-45mins and it starts up and off I go for another hour maybe.  I've been told its "maybe" the coil, module or a bad "pick up".  I replaced the module year and a half ago.
Any suggestions?

Answer
Hi Bill,
Next time it does it, find the little fuel pressure testing port...looks like a tire valve.
Don't find one on the A/C line, but find the one on the fuel rail.
Press the core in the middle, and see if gasoline comes out, og gas vapor.
Then try to start it. You may be vapor locking.

Might also remove the gas cap, and see if a vacuum is forming in the tank. If so, it should start right up.
