I have a 1997 cummins 370 plus.  The oil relief valve came apart inside the block and damaged the walls of the cyclinder (if you will call it that) that it sits in.  They tell me the only way to fix it is with a new engine block.  Do they make a repair sleeve for that hole?  thanks  Brian O.

Is it a M11 or N14?I thinking its a M11 because the oil pressure regulator is in the oil pump on a N14.I have never heard of a regulator doing that.Or is it the high pressure dump valve behind the oil regulator?I dont know of any repair sleeves, but let me know what engine for sure & exactly where it is on the engine and I will look.If they have such a thing,Ill get you the Cummins part number for it.

Answer
Sorry for taking so long, but I could not find any salvage sleeves in any book we had.You can purchase a "block" kit from Cummins that has ALL the gaskets, oil filter,& rod bearings. The block has a crankshaft, oil pump,& liners installed in it.Of course the regulator & releif valve are it it also.I know that is alot of money & down time, but LOTS cheaper than a reman engine.
