Truck Repair: engine swap, ford f150 4x4, crank sensor

Question
I have an 87 ford f150 4x4 with a 300ci 6 cyl, fuel injected. I bought a 78 390ci wich is carberated. what all will i have to switch on the fuel system to go from fuel injected to carberated. i would greatly appreciate your reply.

Answer
Almost nothing. The fuel pressure may be a little high, and the electric pump won't work as before, because of lack of crank sensor, but with a pressure regulator, which you might get by without, and direct wire the pump relay to the ignition, or replace it with the mechanical pump on the engine and remove it so it doesn't restrict the suction.
