Truck Repair: brakes, dodge 4x4, cotter pin

Hey Van,
 I have a 1998 dogderam 2500 deisel 4x4 and I am replacing the rotors . After I take the cotter pin out and remove the axle nut and washer is there anything esle I need to do ? I tried to get them off but they are still on there. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks for any help.

Hi Peter,
I haven't worked on that new a Dodge 4X4, but normally there is a lot mor to do than just a cotter pin and nut.
The last Dodge 4X4 I worked on, you had to stick a socket and extension through a hole in the rotor, and unbolt the bearing retainer from the spindle.
The caliper and caliper bracker also had to be off.
