Vintage Cars: instrament cluster removal, steering wheel, oil line

ron i need your help again my odometer stopped working some time ago and i want to fix it i found a place that will restore it.for a very good price. i want to know the best way to remove it and know if i have to disconnect anything befor completely removing it.. like the steering wheel? please let me know the best way to go about this. thanks again Ron!

the dashpod pushes out from the back, or by using two hooks from the front,if it has not been out before it can be a really hard to do.   Best if done from pushing from the back, with hooks in front.   Take off underdash panels ,  Oil line, speedo cable and wire harness will all have to come off as you push it out.  You may or may not have to remove steering wheel depending on length of connectors in back.  Certainly removing steering wheel makes it easier. the dashpod can then be taken apart , that will be evident on how to do it.  replace all the bulbs while you are in there and clean the lens.
