Vintage Cars: location of fuel pump on 1979 450slc, fuel pump relay, fuel pump

I cannot find the location of the fuel pump relay on a 1979 450 slc, pLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLease help

should be  above and to the right of the fusebox. The easiest way to identify it is to find the large red/white/black wire that runs from it to the fuel pump.
Could also be behind glove box or under center console or on the wall behind the brake pedal, probably silver if old, but could be black.
Is this car american or euro?
