Question
Hi I am a co owner of a 33 k321 cabriolet just taken from the back of a yard. Whats the going price for a restor'd car. And are there only 4 in the country or world. Its in rough shape.
thanks bc.

Answer
I have seen a couple of beautifully restored Hupp 8-Cylinder Cycle Fender cars (Models F & I) being sold for in excess of $50K over the last couple of years, but these were sedans and coupes. There are only 2 Model K Cabriolets listed in the club's roster, but that doesn't mean there aren't more out there. The 6-Cylinder cars sell for somewhat less, but a true Cabriolet is quite rare, and in my opinion would fetch over $50K for a well restored example. A roadster would bring just slightly less.

Your car is a FANTASTIC find, and I would encourage you to join the Hupmobile Club to gain access to the parts locator and newsletters. There are a number of Model K folks in the club, and would certainly be willing to help you with advice and parts. Personally, I would absolutely love to see some photos of your car - Please send me some @ rboberjr@yahoo.com.
