Vintage Cars: 1980 380se euro model, k jetronic, air flow meter

Question
Ron,
Following up on this car with the Bosch K-jetronic fuel injection system. I tested the fuel pump for flow and confirmed its output at 1 liter in 40 seconds of operation.  I adjusted the idle mixture screw on the air flow meter, starting from all the way out (lean) after 8 clockwise turns I've reached the point where the car now starts and goes into a smooth idle. It runs nicely, however starting is now more difficult, I need to depress the gas pedal fully and crank the starter for three to four seconds. Are there any more adjustments that I can try.

Thanks again for your advice.
Oscar

Answer
I am assuming cold start issues

you probably know this but K jet starting procedure tells you not to push accelertor at all...

I would look to make sure Aux air valve is working ( not stuck) -may be too lean or cold start injector not functioning properly.  Common issue of CSV not working is failed thermo time switch   are the points  /timing OK?
