Vintage Cars: muscle cars, plymouth road runner, american muscle cars

Question
I love muscle cars, but I live in a climate where a third of the year is winter.  I
need a car that's good in snow as well as looking good.  I have heard that
putting snow tires on it would be an easy fix, but it doesn't sound right to me.  Is
there anything that has a look of a muscle car that's not rear wheel drive?  Is it
actually practical to put snow tires on a muscle car?

Answer
The problem with snow tires is that so few of them are made that will fit an American muscle car (Ford Mustang or Dodge Challenger).  There are some "higher-performance" Japanese and Korean models that have front- or all-wheel-drive (Mitsubishi Talon and Hyundai Tiburon come to mind), and there are numerous European cars that might fit the bill.  Now, I assume we're talking current models, and not classic American muscle cars like a Pontiac GTO, Olds 4-4-2 or Plymouth Road Runner.  You're not considering driving one of those classics in the winter, are you?
