Vintage Cars: 1972 Skylark Stamped VIN, buick skylark, classic buick

I'm registering a 1972 Skylark GS in Spain (GSX clone) and I need to know where I can find the VIN number stamped on the chassis. VIN plates are not valid, has to be stamped.

The location of VINs (other than the dash plate in the lower-left corner of the windshield) vary from car to car and year to year.  I have no way of knowing them all personally, but there are reference sites for such a thing.  Try posting your question on a site like this one:

If that one is unable to help, then just do a Google or Yahoo! search for something like "Classic Buick forums" or "Buick Skylark forums."  I'm sure someone will be able to answer your question on one of these sites, not to mention providing more info you may need in the future.  Good luck.
