Vintage Cars: 1970 cutlass engine, oldsmobile cutlass, w30 w31

Question
Its been 10 years since i owned my 75 cutlass supreme with a 350 rocket, best engine I've ever had. Anyways I'm looking at buying a 1970 cutlass with the description "1970 OLDSMOBILE CUTLASS 4 DOOR ,350 AUTO," Is there a rocket in that? I know rockets were made sometime in the mid 60's and phased out in mid to late 70's. But were the rockets the high end engine? or was it standard for all cutlass's to be outfitted with the rocket? What I'm I looking for under the hood to identify if its a rocket?

Answer
From 1949, up until the late 70s, ALL Oldsmobile V8s were "Rocket V8s."  It was simply a name attached to all their engines, just like Dodge had "Red Rams" and Chevy had "Turbo Fires" and so forth.  So, if it's a 1970 Olds V8, it's a Rocket.  The only "high end" engines from Olds in 1970 that I'm aware of are the 455s in the B/C/E bodies(amazingly quiet, smooth, powerful engines), and the factory-blueprinted V8s that were part of the W30/ W31/ W33 packages available on the 442s and the Rallye 350.
