Vintage Cars: Year difference?, business coupe, catwalks

Question
How do you tell the difference between a 1937 and a 1939 Chevrolet business coupe. Is it the headlight location or what?

Answer
On the 1937, the grille is tall and narrow, and the headlights are attached to either side of the hood.  On the '39, the grille is wider and wraps back around the sides of the hood, while the headlights ride on the "catwalks," which is the metal area between the hood and the front fenders.
