Vintage Cars: 78 Olds, new jasper, old boats

Trying to see if you can give me a ballpark value for my '78 Olds Delta 88 Royale.  Rebuilt engine, new Jasper trans.  Interior in good cond.  Paint in good cond.  Thanks for your time!!!

You don't give much info to go on so the ballpark figure will be a BIG ballpark.  NOTE to those in the future asking for this, the more info the better.

The 4 door is worth between about $700 and $4000, if a 2 door you can add a couple hundred to those figures.

the top figure would be for a car in near showroom condition, and if that good, you can probably do better if you find the right buyer.

For a typical used car in running condition, probably about $2000.

If you are disappointed with those numbers, remember that the huge dollars that 60's musclecars are getting are for 60's musclecars.  You have a big car from the late 70's and those just aren't holding much value, and although a rising tide (the big dollar values for musclecars) "floats all boats" it won't float the big boats of the late 70's!
