Vintage Cars: Orginal radio and amplifier 1956 chevy, hemmings motor news, 56 chevy

Question
I have an original 56 chevy convertible.  I removed the radio and amp from the dash a few months back for some restoration work now I cannot locate a wiring diagram.  The only wire I cant find where it goes is on the amplifier.  It is the green speaker wire and it has the small cylinder shaped connection on the end. I cannot find where it plugs into.  All other wiring is connected. Can you please help with this.

Answer
These are so simple, hard to imagine that the diagram would be needed, but then I have been stumped by seemingly simple stuff many times!

This brings up the point that when taking stuff apart, have note cards handy and a polaroid camera (do they still make them?).  A digital is OK, but will you print them out?  Will you save them or know where they are?  Polaroids are on the spot, write notes, take a pic or two and put loose parts and the pic/notes in a baggie on the shelf taped to the part they go with.  Solves the problem!

For now, get a copy of Hemmings Motor News, or go online at Hemmings.com and they have radio repair businesses that advertise all the time.  Usually if you ask nice, they can tell you what you need to know.  If you need radio parts, buy them from the shop that helps you.
