Vintage Cars: 1959 ford ( ranchero?) wagon, 1959 ford ranchero, ford clubs

I am looking into buying a 1959 ford ( ranchero ) wagon. the guy says his parents are original owners. this is a two door wagon that he says is exactly like the ranchero but covered to make it a wagon. Do you have any info on this car or know where I can find any info? thanks

What it is, is a Ranch Wagon.  The Ranchero was the pickup truck style version (like the El Camino from Chevy)

The Ranch Wagon is a 2 door Station wagon, somewhat like the Nomad from Chevy.

Check out Hemmings.com or better yet, visit a good bookstore and buy a copy, having the magazine in your hands is so much better.  There is a section for 54 and Up Fords and you should call some of the vendors that specialize in late 50's Fords, they can hook you up with some national/local clubs I am sure.
